CRYSTALIS GAME

Crystalis was a multidisciplinary project created during my time at university and was prominently headed by Saffron Stankiewicz. I was the main graphic designer for the team and was tasked with developing the game’s UX design, social media and other supporting materials.

Tahn, a young paladin sent on a quest to restore the Crystalis of Lapaderia, is left to find her way into the main chamber. She must overcome the main protective shield barrier and defeat her childhood friend Pahk.

Little does she know that a sacrifice is needed to restore the Crystalis and save the world.

GAME ART-BOOK

TEAM T-SHIRT & BUSINESS CARD

The game’s story and concept art had already been created before I joined the team so I had a great resource of reference material to draw inspiration from, along with Saffron and Cherize’s clear vision I found creating assets quite easy.

I did face problems when translating the style into print as the heavily used glow effects became dull or were not possible on items like the t-shirts. I ended up creating a more pared-back design for the print elements and focusing more on shape and contrast.
