Created during my time at university, the fictional brand, Someplace Nice, is an underwear/bra brand that pairs the visual inspiration of Pip & Pop (Installation Artists) with the promise of style and comfort. The brand would focus on modern clothing and fabric technology while also maintaining a fun and playful theme.
While most of the project was completed personally, I did collaborate with audio and film students for the video advert section. This was one of the first uni projects I did that required me to take on the role of creative director and was a great learning experience in communicating and working with other creatives in similar fields.

DIELINE DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN
BEHIND THE SCENES
The idea for an underwear brand had been on my mind for a few years before the uni project came up. Someplace Nice was originally called “Direct from Magicland” as a reference to Pip & Pop’s “We Miss You Magic Land” exhibition but later changed due to the length.
I developed the packaging die-lines by building them out of scrap paper before translating the designs into Adobe Illustrator. In total, it took me about 2 scrap paper models and 3 test prints before the full underwear box design was finalised.
